Another r8 worthwhile years of globe trotting withP & O Cruises (UK) has given the rich and varied exposure in Managing People dimensions in the gighly demanding Luxury Cruise Liners of the world such as Seawing, Carousal, Sundream, Oriana, SS Canberra and the Sea Princess. The sole responsibility for the smooth operational management and accommodation of over 2000 demanding guests and diverse staff, helped gain a learning curve.

On the ship, the job is all the more challenging by virtue of being away from the land most of the time. It also means working with the staff belonging to different nationalities and backgrounds. The same holds true of the discerning international clientele who come from different walks of life and from all age groups. Many years pf practical experience in the hotel industry too in India, UAE and Bahrain gave insights into the responsibility of managing a wide range of challenges in dealing with people and situations spanning each and every aspect of day-to-day operations.
